In the of winter 2008, Melissa and I spent our days wondering about the bleak, frozen landscape of Berlin looking for signs of life or for a studio where we could hole up and get the next recording project started at the very least.
We, thankfully, managed to do that but not before an old friend, and fellow musician from Nervous Cabaret, Matt Clark had sent me a track he was interested in having me sing and write lyrics for as part of his new project with Three Black Eyes.
The music was pretty much in place and Matt had written a rather ominous refrain: "before I come around, you'd better take that knife and throw it down to the bottom of the well"....
